In recent years, using I-beam tracks and electric hoists to lift heavy objects has become the main form of workshop lifting. In our conventional understanding, electric hoists and I-beam tracks are the standard equipment, while a straight type winch is a device that is fixed on the ground to pull heavy objects. In fact, this is not the case. In practical work, there are also some workplaces where winches and I-beam tracks are used in combination.

This customer welded and installed a straight type winch on the "door" beam of their own factory building. After lifting the finished heavy parts from the factory to a certain height, they drove the truck under the heavy parts and slowly placed them on the truck, solving the problem of difficult manual loading. The appearance is similar to a small gantry, but the one they designed cannot be moved.

The inability of a single track winch to be used in conjunction with a monorail also results in its inability to travel back and forth on I-beam tracks. However, this drawback does not limit its usage, as construction sites remain its main application area. Its unique advantage over electric hoists is its ability to horizontally pull heavy objects.
