The lifting pulley is an important lifting tool with a simple structure and easy use. It can change the direction of the pulley and pulley group to pull the steel cable multiple times and lift or move heavy objects. Especially the pulley group composed of pulleys, combined with winches, masts or other lifting tools, can provide enormous lifting capacity, simplify lifting operations, improve work efficiency, and ensure lifting safety.

In lifting operations, pulleys are generally used to make fixed pulleys, moving pulleys, guiding pulleys, balancing pulleys, etc., and are often composed of two or more pulleys to form a pulley group. The purpose of using a pulley is twofold: firstly, to withstand lifting force (gravity) and traction force; secondly, to change the direction of traction; and thirdly, to achieve balance and stability of the object.

Because the lifting tackle is easy to use and carry, it has been widely used in line maintenance, construction, ship maintenance, logistics and transportation and other fields.
