At present, the two most common types of steel wire ropes are pressed steel wire ropes and spliced steel wire ropes. The biggest difference between the two types of steel wire ropes is their different ways of weaving the ring eyes. The former uses aluminum sleeves to press and form the ring eyes, while the latter is formed by winding and weaving. So, what are the essential differences between the two different processes?
① Under the same diameter, the aluminum sleeve is pressed and poured with a large lifting capacity, making it safer.
② If the steel wire rope is a steel core steel wire rope, it will be more difficult to insert and weave, so this type of steel wire rope is more likely to be pressed.
③ Aluminum alloy tube pressing and pouring relatively save ropes. And the amount of rope used for inserting and weaving steel wire rope clips is large.
④ The compression consolidation rate is around 0.9, and the interpolation is around 0.65. Relatively speaking, compressing steel wire rope is less likely to loosen.
